Advanced Testing

Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing

    • Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) is an advanced non destructive examination technique that utilizes a set of ultrasonic testing probes made up of numerous small elements, each of which is pulsed individually with computer-calculated timing. This technique can be used to inspect more complex geometries that are difficult and much slower to inspect with single probes. PAUT can be used to inspect almost any material where traditional UT methods have been utilized, and is often used for weld inspections and crack detection.
    • PAUT can easily be used for repeat scans because it has a high degree of repeatability. By emitting beams of multiple different angles sequentially, PAUT is able to create detailed and accurate cross-sections of a part. It is also particularly useful in situations where there is less room for mechanical scanning because it’s able to sweep the beam without moving the probe.

Internal Oxide Measurement

  • ETU Services LLP measures the thickness of oxide/scale buildups inside boiler tubes. The gauge simultaneously displays the metal thickness of the boiler tube and the thickness of the oxide layer, which helps to predict tube life

Thru-Coat Technology

  • ETU Services LLP measures true metal thickness by single back-wall echo. We measure metal and coating thicknesses, each adjusted for their correct material sound velocities without removing paint and coating.

Videoscopic Testing

  • Videoscope provides users working in challenging environments with a remote visual inspection tool that has the image quality and ease of use to get the job done. It is used to detect fine scratches that are hard to see with the naked eye. It is useful to inspect the gearbox of a wind turbine, boilers etc.

Eddy current Testing

  • Eddy-current testing is one of many electromagnetic testing methods used to detect and characterize surface and sub-surface flaws in conductive materials. The technique is very sensitive and can detect tight cracks. ETU Services LLP Provide.

Leak Testing

  • Leak testing is a process used to detect manufacturing defects which helps verify the integrity of products and improve consumer safety. For example, the automotive industry consistently uses leak testing to verify that assembly operations were completed properly and subcomponents are leak free. These leak testing procedures are defined and specified by a variety of standard organizations. ETU Service LLP provides.
